THE TRUSTEES OF THE SHAWNEE AIRPORT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, COUNTY OF POTTAWATOMIE, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, MET IN REGULAR SCHEDULED SESSION IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 9TH AND BROADWAY, SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA, MONDAY, MARCH 17, 2014, DURING THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS MEETING AT 6:30 P.M., PURSUANT TO NOTICE DULY POSTED AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW. UPON ROLL CALL, A QUORUM WAS DECLARED WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE:

AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Consider approval of Consent Agenda
a. Minutes from the March 3, 2014 meeting.
A motion was made by Trustee Smith, seconded by Trustee Hall, to approve Consent Agenda Item No. 1(a). Motion carried 6-0.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Consider approval of a commercial lease between the Shawnee Airport Authority and Scissortail Skydiving, LLC.
Assistant Airport Manager Keenan English reported that they were negotiating a discount lease rate on this property so the lessee can make needed improvements. It is a 10-year lease, with the first 5 years of the lease being at the rate of $1.00 per square foot. After 5 years, the rate increases to $1.50 per square foot.
A motion was made by Trustee Hall, seconded by Trustee Winterringer, to approve a commercial lease between the Shawnee Airport Authority and Scissortail Skydiving, LLC. Motion carried 6-0.
