Back to FULL ListingTHE TRUSTEES OF THE SHAWNEE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, COUNTY OF POTTAWATOMIE, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, MET IN REGULAR SCHEDULED SESSION IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 9TH AND BROADWAY, SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA, MONDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2006 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS MEETING AT 5:30 P.M., PURSUANT TO NOTICE DULY POSTED AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW. UPON ROLL CALL, A QUORUM WAS DECLARED PRESENT WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE:

PRESENT: Stephens, Schrzan, O’Neal, Mills, Peterson, Daugherty
ABSENT: Beck

AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Call to Order.

Chairman Mills presided and called the meeting to order.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Declaration of a Quorum.

Chairman Mills declared a quorum present.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 3: Consider approval of Consent Agenda

a. Minutes of the November 6, 2006 meeting.

b. Confirm action taken under City Commission Agenda Item No. 4(b) regarding Budget Amendment in Shawnee Municipal Authority.
City Commission approved Budget Amendment in Shawnee Municipal Authority.

c. Confirm action taken under City Commission Agenda Item No. 11 regarding approval of ordinance increasing water and sewer tap fees.
City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 2289NS.

d. Confirm action taken under City Commission Agenda Item No. 16 regarding authorizing staff to pursue partnerships with

other entities for possible acquisition of additional water supplies.
City Commission authorized staff to pursue partnerships with other entities for possible acquisition of additional water supplies.

e. Confirm action taken under City Commission Agenda Item No. 19(a) regarding bid opening for Rehabilitation of the Bryan Sanitary Sewer Lift Station.
City Commission deferred bids to staff for review and recommendation at the December 4, 2006 meeting.

f. Confirm action taken under City Commission Agenda Item No. 19(b) regarding bid opening for the Water Plant Sanitary Sewer Lift Station with Forcemain and Rehabilitation of Sludge
Lift Station.
City Commission deferred bids to staff for review and recommendation at the December 4, 2006 meeting.

A motion was made by Vice Chairman Peterson, seconded by Trustee Schrzan, to approve the Consent Agenda (a-f), as presented. Motion carried 6-0.

There being no further business to come before the meeting, a motion was made by Trustee Schrzan, seconded by Trustee Daugherty, that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried 6-0. (9:04 p.m.)
