Back to FULL ListingTHE TRUSTEES OF THE SHAWNEE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, COUNTY OF POTTAWATOMIE, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, MET IN REGULAR SCHEDULED SESSION IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 9TH AND BROADWAY, SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA, MONDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2006 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS MEETING AT 5:30 P.M., PURSUANT TO NOTICE DULY POSTED AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW. UPON ROLL CALL, A QUORUM WAS DECLARED PRESENT WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE:

PRESENT: Stephens, Schrzan, O’Neal, Mills, Peterson, Daugherty
ABSENT: Beck

AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Call to Order.

Chairman Mills presided and called the meeting to order.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Declaration of a Quorum.

Chairman Mills declared a quorum present.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 3: Consider approval of Consent Agenda

a. Minutes of November 20, 2006 meeting.

b. Confirm action taken on City Commission Agenda Item No. 11 regarding the discussion of the Wes Watkins Reservoir contract.
City staff recommends that this item be deferred until the new City of Tecumseh mayor and city manager familiarize themselves with the contract.

c. Confirm action taken on City Commission Agenda Item No. 13(a) regarding award of bid for Bryan Street Sanitary Sewer Lift Station.

City Commission accepted staff’s recommendation to award bid for the Bryan Street Sanitary Sewer Lift Station to PSI Construction, Inc., Sapulpa, Oklahoma, as the lowest and best bid.

d. Confirm action taken on City Commission Agenda Item No. 13(b) regarding award of bid for Water Plant Sanitary Sewer Lift Station with Forcemain and Rehabilitation of Sludge Lift Station.

City Commission accepted staff’s recommendation to award bid for Water Plant Sanitary Sewer Lift Station with Forcemain and Rehabilitation of Sludge Lift Station to PSI Construction, Inc., Sapulpa, Oklahoma, as the lowest and best bid.

A motion was made by Trustee Schrzan, seconded by Vice Chairman Peterson, to approve the Consent Agenda (a-d), as presented. Motion carried 6-0.

AYE: Schrzan, Peterson, Daugherty, Stephens, O’Neal, Mills
NAY: None

There being no further business to come before the meeting, a motion was made by Vice Chairman Peterson, seconded by Trustee Schrzan, that the meeting be adjourned.
