THE TRUSTEES OF THE SHAWNEE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, COUNTY OF POTTAWATOMIE, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, MET IN REGULAR SCHEDULED SESSION IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 9TH AND BROADWAY, SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA, MONDAY, MAY 19, 2008 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS MEETING AT 6:30 P.M., PURSUANT TO NOTICE DULY POSTED AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW. UPON ROLL CALL, A QUORUM WAS DECLARED PRESENT WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE:
PRESENT: Stephens, O’Neal, Mills, Collier, Peterson, Holt
ABSENT: Schrzan
AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Call to Order
AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Declaration of a Quorum
AGENDA ITEM NO. 3: Consider approval of Consent Agenda
a. Minutes of April 21, 2008 meeting.
City Commission approved minutes of April 21, 2008 meeting.
b. Confirm action taken under City Commission Agenda Item No. 21 regarding discussion and consideration of water rate increase.
City Commission approved water and sewer rate increase of 8%.
A motion was made by Trustee Peterson, seconded by Trustee Collier, to approve the Consent Agenda (a-b), as presented. Motion carried 6-0.
There was no New Business.
