THE TRUSTEES OF THE SHAWNEE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, COUNTY OF POTTAWATOMIE, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, MET IN REGULAR SCHEDULED SESSION IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 9TH AND BROADWAY, SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA, MONDAY, JULY 7, 2008 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS MEETING AT 6:30 P.M., PURSUANT TO NOTICE DULY POSTED AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW. UPON ROLL CALL, A QUORUM WAS DECLARED PRESENT WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE:
AGENDA ITEM NO. 3: Consider approval of Consent Agenda
a. Minutes of June 16, 2008 meeting.
b. Confirm action taken by City Commission on June 16, 2008 Agenda Item Number 25 regarding City Manager’s annual evaluation and consideration of City Manager’s employment status as it relates to Shawnee Municipal Authority Manager.
City Commission agreed to sever the employment contract with Dr. Collard as Shawnee Municipal Authority Manager.
c. Confirm action taken on City Commission Agenda Item No. 2-a approving minutes from June 24, 2008 Joint Special Call Meeting of the Shawnee City Commission, Tecumseh Utility Authority, and the Pottawatomie County Development Authority regarding discussion on 1990 Shawnee/Tecumseh water contract.
City Commission approved minutes.
A motion was made by Trustee Schrzan, seconded by Trustee Peterson, to approve the Consent Agenda (a-c), as presented.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, a motion was made by Trustee Peterson, seconded by Trustee O’Neal, that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried 5-0. (9:32 p.m.)
