SHAWNEE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY PROCEEDINGS
SPECIAL CALLED SESSION
March 23, 2010 AT 6:30 P.M.
The Trustees of the Shawnee Municipal Authority met jointly with the Tecumseh Utility Authority in Special Called Session at the Heart of Oklahoma Conference Center, 1700 W. Independence, Shawnee, Oklahoma, Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 6:30 p.m., pursuant to notice duly posted as prescribed by law. Mayor Peterson presided and called the meeting to order. Upon roll call, the following members were in attendance.

Others in attendance were city staff, City Manager Brian McDougal, City Clerk Phyllis Loftis, Tracy McDaniel, Shawnee Legal Counsel, Interim Director of Operations James Bryce and Interim Human Resource Director Tammy Johnson. The media was represented by Kim Morava, Shawnee News Star and Wayne Trotter of the Countywide News.
Those present from the Tecumseh Utility Authority were Chairman Collier, Trustee Jordan, Trustee Prater, Trustee Motley and Trustee Satterfield. City Manager Jim Thompson was also present.
Representatives from the Town of McLoud were City Manager Larry Dillon, Mayor Jon Barrett and City Attorney Mike Warwick
Present from the Pottawatomie County Development Authority were Dr. Joe Taron and board member Karl Kozel.
The Call for said meeting was entered upon the records by the City Clerk, said Call being as follows:
NOTICE OF A CALLED SPECIAL SESSION JOINT MEETING OF THE
SHAWNEE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, AND THE TECUMSEH UTILITY AUTHORITY
TO THE SHAWNEE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA:
You and each of you are hereby notified that by virtue of a call issued by me on this 19th day of March, 2010, a Special Called Session will be held of the Shawnee Municipal Authority of the City of Shawnee, Oklahoma at the Heart of Oklahoma Conference Center, 1700 W. Independence, Shawnee, Oklahoma at 6:30 p.m. on March 23, 2010, and you are hereby notified to be present at said meeting.
The purpose of said meeting will be a joint meeting with the Tecumseh Utility Authority to discuss and consider options for future maintenance and operation of recreational facilities at Wes Watkins Reservoir.

CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSION OF THE SHAWNEE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA TO BE HELD ON THE 23RD DAY OF MARCH, 2010 AT 6:30 O’CLOCK P.M. AT THE HEART OF OKLAHOMA CONFERENCE CENTER, 1700 W. INDEPENDENCE, SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA TO HAVE A JOINT MEETING WITH THE TECUMSEH UTILITY AUTHORITY TO DISCUSS AND CONSIDER OPTIONS FOR FUTURE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AT WES WATKINS RESERVOIR.
By virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 4, Article IV of the Charter of the City of Shawnee, Oklahoma, a Special Session of the Shawnee Municipal Authority of the City of Shawnee, Oklahoma is hereby called to meet an the Heart of Oklahoma Conference Center, 1700 W. Independence, Shawnee, Oklahoma at 6:30 p.m. on March 23, 2010, for the purpose of a joint meeting with the Tecumseh Utility Authority to discuss and consider options for future maintenance and operation of recreational facilities at Wes Watkins Reservoir.
