THE TRUSTEES OF THE SHAWNEE AIRPORT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, COUNTY OF POTTAWATOMIE, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, MET IN REGULAR SCHEDULED SESSION IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 9TH AND BROADWAY, SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA, MONDAY JULY 19, 2010, PURSUANT TO A RECESS OF THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS MEETING AT 6:35 P.M., WITH NOTICE DULY POSTED AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW. UPON ROLL CALL, A QUORUM WAS DECLARED WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE:

AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Call to Order

AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Declaration of a Quorum

AGENDA ITEM NO. 3: Consider approval of Consent Agenda.

a. Minutes from the July 19, 2010 meeting.

A motion was made by Trustee Stephens, seconded by Trustee Sims, to approve the consent agenda. Motion carried 6-0.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 4: Consider a short term loan from Shawnee Industrial Authority for FAA Agreement Number AJW-FN-CSA-10-0752

Assistant Airport Manager Rex Hennen explained that the Promissory Note with the Shawnee Industrial Authority has been review by the City Attorney who requested one change; that the language regarding repayment reflect that the City will repay the SIA funds within fifteen (15) days of receipt of funds from the Federal Aviation Administration.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stephens, seconded by Commissioner Winterringer, to approve the short term loan (promissory note) with the Shawnee Industrial Authority with the language modified to reflect the repayment of the loan within fifteen (15) days from receipt of funds from the FAA. Motion carried.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 5: Administrative Reports

Mr. Hennen informed the Commission that the Civil Air Patrol National Flight Academy has been utilizing the airport for the past ten days. He noted that this has resulted in approximately $10,000 in fuel sales at the airport.
Mr. Hennen further spoke of the success of the Fly-In Pancake Breakfast held on July 17th at the airport. He noted that attendance was excellent, with over 300 people visiting. He further noted that over 100 children took their first airplane flight that day.

A motion was made by Trustee Holt, seconded by Trustee Winterringer, to adjourn the Shawnee Airport Authority. Motion carried 6-0.
