The Trustees of the Shawnee Municipal Authority met in Special Called Session at the Shawnee Commission Chambers at Shawnee City Hall, 16 W. 9th, Shawnee, Oklahoma, Monday, July 14, 2014 at 6:30 p.m., pursuant to notice duly posted as prescribed by law. Mayor Mainord presided and called the meeting to order. Upon roll call, the following members were in attendance.

TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE SHAWNEE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA:
You and each of you are hereby notified that by virtue of a call issued by me on this 10TH day of July, 2014 a Special Called Session of the Trustees of the Shawnee Municipal Authority of the City of Shawnee will be held at Commission Chambers at City Hall, 16 W. 9th, Shawnee, Oklahoma at 6:30 P.M. on July 14, 2014 and you are hereby notified to be present at said meeting. The purpose of the following special call session of the Shawnee Municipal Authority will be for a work session to discuss the Master Plan Water Treatment CIP and the Water Distribution CIP.

CALL TO ORDER AT 6:30 P.M.
DECLARATION OF A QUORUM
Roll was called with four Commissioners present and a quorum was declared.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Work session to discuss the Master Plan Water Treatment CIP and the Water Distribution CIP.
Mr. Tom Crawley with Carollo Engineers was available to answer questions and gave an overview of the water treatment and supply portion of the Master Plan Water Treatment and Water Distribution CIP. Mr. Crawley went over some of the suggested projects as they had prioritized the projects. City Manager Brian McDougal explained that some of these could be done on a cash basis with short term financing without any rate increases. Many of the past projects that are financed now will be paid off in the next eight years and this will free up funding for some additional projects.
Trustee Harrod is wanting a one page summary of what needs to be done, when it needs to be done and what is will cost. Trustee Harrod does not want to go through all of the information at each meeting. Trustee Agee also thinks all this information is good for reference material but they need a prioritized summary. All Trustees present agreed that this would help with their decisions.
Mr. Max Baldischwiler and Ms. Lindsey Olsen, both of Smith Roberts Baldischwiler, LLC, then spoke on the water distribution portion of the Master Plan. Mr. Baldischwiler advised all the information the Trustees needed was in the material presented, but they would have a summary sheet for each area with their suggested priorities at the next Special Call meeting on July 28, 2014. Ms. Olsen explained where to find the different water lines on detailed maps in the material previously prepared for the Trustees.

There being no further business to be considered, the meeting was adjourned by power of the Chair. (7:55 p.m.)
