Back to FULL ListingTHE TRUSTEES OF THE SHAWNEE AIRPORT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, COUNTY OF POTTAWATOMIE, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, MET IN REGULAR SCHEDULED SESSION IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 9TH AND BROADWAY, SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA, MONDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2014, DURING THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS MEETING AT 6:30 P.M., PURSUANT TO NOTICE DULY POSTED AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW. UPON ROLL CALL, A QUORUM WAS DECLARED WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE:

PRESENT: Vogel, Agee, Harrod, Mainord, Hall, Shaw, Dykstra
ABSENT: None

Call to Order

Declaration of a Quorum

AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Consider approval of Consent Agenda

a. Minutes from the October 6, 2014 meeting.

b. Minutes from the Airport Advisory Board August 20, 2014 meeting.

A motion was made by Trustee Hall, seconded by Trustee Harrod, to approve the Consent Agenda Item Nos. 1(a-b). Motion carried 7-0.

AYE: Hall, Harrod, Mainord, Shaw, Dykstra, Vogel, Agee
NAY: None

AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Consideration of approving an amendment of the 1996 lease between The Shawnee Airport Authority and Vyve Broadband A LLC.

Commissioner Shaw had questions regarding the dates of the agreement and the twenty-year renewal period. Assistant Airport Manager Kennan English gave the staff report and responded to the questions.
A motion was made by Trustee Dykstra, seconded by Trustee Hall, to approve the amendment of the 1996 lease between The Shawnee Airport Authority and Vyve Broadband A LLC. Motion carried 6-1.

AYE: Dykstra, Hall, Vogel, Agee, Harrod, Mainord
NAY: Shaw

There was no New Business.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 4: Adjournment

There being no further business to be considered, the meeting was adjourned by power of the Chair. (7:33 p.m.)
