THE TRUSTEES OF THE SHAWNEE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, COUNTY OF POTTAWATOMIE, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, MET IN REGULAR SESSION IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 9TH AND BROADWAY, SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA, MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2002 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS MEETING, PURSUANT TO NOTICE DULY POSTED AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW. UPON ROLL CALL, A QUORUM WAS DECLARED PRESENT WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE:
Chairman Harden presided and called the meeting to order.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Declaration of a Quorum.
Chairman Harden declared a quorum present.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 3: Consider approval of Consent Agenda.
a. Minutes of January 22, 2002 meeting
b. Consider payment of claim to John Canavan for services provided for Shawnee Municipal Authority Sales Tax Revenue Note, Series 2001.
Trustee Claybrook had questions about the legal fees charged for services provided by City Attorney John Canavan on the $5.35 million note sold in December 2001. The responses from Mr. Canavan revealed that legal liabilities are placed on him as an attorney when giving his opinions in certain matters.
A motion was made by Vice Chairman Downing, seconded by Trustee Harrod, that the Consent Agenda (a-b) be approved.

There being no further business to come before the meeting, a motion was made by Trustee Weaver, seconded by Trustee Harrod, that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried. (9:31 p.m.)
