d. Acknowledge the following minutes:
* Shawnee Urban Renewal Authority minutes from the March 4, 2003 meeting.
* Civic and Cultural Development Authority minutes from the February 20, 2003 meeting
* Shawnee Beautification Committee minutes from the January 6, 2003 meeting
* Traffic and Transportation Commission minutes from the February 25, 2003 meeting
e. Acknowledge Workers’ Compensation settlement regarding Donald Brian Woodall.
f. Authorize out-of-state travel for Jerry Bower to attend International Association of Fire Chief’s Southwest Division Conference in Las Cruces, New Mexico on May 2 – 7, 2003.
g. Authorize out-of-state travel for Dru Tischer to attend Arson Investigation class at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland on April 28 – May 9, 2003.
h. Authorize staff to advertise for bids for the construction portion of the Water Treatment Plant Phase 2 Improvement project.
i. Acknowledge letter from Greg Reid of REACT EMS regarding the addition of EXTRA CARE service for non-emergency, non-medical transportation for wheelchair bound clients.
j. Recommendations from the Traffic and Transportation Commission from the March 25, 2003 meeting:
(1) Request of Chris Jones, 626 W. Ford, to install a “Slow – Children at Play” sign on West Ford Street.
Recommendation: To deny request and increase police surveillance.
(2) Request from citizen to return Bell Street, between Highland Street and Ridgewood Street, from one-way traffic to two-way traffic.
Recommendation: Defer this item until the next meeting so that a survey of residents can be presented.
(3) Request from citizen to return Douglas Street, between Highland Street and Ridgewood Street, from one-way traffic to two-way traffic.
Recommendation: Defer this item until the next meeting so that a survey of residents can be presented.

7. Consider request of June Miller to waive public nuisance lien on property located at 217 S. Oklahoma. ($4,190.96)
8. Consider wheelchair ramp at Shawnee Public Library.
9. Consider an ordinance increasing water connection fees and resetting of meter fees for the City of Shawnee.
10. Consider a resolution extending 911 service for the City of Shawnee.
11. Consider changing billing method for sewer service from an average of winter months to actual usage. (Deferred from 3/17/03)
12. Consider an ordinance repealing prohibition of a person stopping, standing or parking a vehicle within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection.
13. Presentation by staff of cell phone usage analysis.
14. Discussion of interlocal agreement with Pottawatomie County regarding road E/W 111.
