THE TRUSTEES OF THE SHAWNEE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, COUNTY OF POTTAWATOMIE, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, MET IN REGULAR SCHEDULED SESSION IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 9TH AND BROADWAY, SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA, MONDAY, JUNE 15, 2015, DURING THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS MEETING AT 6:30 P.M., PURSUANT TO NOTICE DULY POSTED AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW. UPON ROLL CALL, A QUORUM WAS DECLARED WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE:

PRESENT: Agee, Harrod, Mainord, Shaw
ABSENT: Hall, Dykstra

Declaration of a Quorum

AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Consider approval of Consent Agenda

a. Minutes from the June 1, 2015 meeting.

A motion was made by Trustee Harrod, seconded by Trustee Shaw, to approve Consent Agenda item No. 1(a). Motion carried 4-0.

AYE: Harrod, Shaw, Agee, Mainord
NAY: None

AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Consider Bids:

a. Raw Water Valve Motor Operator for Twin Lakes 1, Twin Lakes 2 and Wes Watkins, Contract No. SMA-15-06 (Award)

Steve Nelms, Utility Director, announced that three bids were received and after review and consideration it was staff’s recommendation to award the bid to Ruby Box & Associates Inc. of Norman, Oklahoma in the total amount of $68,700.00.
A motion was made by Trustee Harrod, seconded by Trustee Shaw, to accept staff’s recommendation and award the bid to Ruby Box & Associates Inc. in the total amount of $68,700.00. Motion carried 4-0.

NAY: None
