Every two years, the City solicits bids from mowing contractors to remove debris and mow lawns of public nuisance properties. Staff is slightly modifying the bid packet using Midwest City's bid packet as a model. Nothing specific in our contract relates to freon, batteries, paint, or other hazardous materials.

Staff met with FAA representatives who asked that a revised proposal be submitted for their review. A meeting to consider concerns and recommendations from pilots and other airport users was recommended. FAA required formal action be taken by the City Commission confirming the location and the proposed use.
